The idea for Glamstand begun when I first prototyped a makeup brush holder with a phone stand for my HSC Design Technology Major Project in 2017. Always on the lookout for innovative design solutions and driven by a passion for beauty, a light went off in my head one day with the idea for the Glamstand: a more convenient way to watch tutorials during your makeup routine.
After sharing the design to social media, the feedback I got was overwhelmingly positive, encouraging me to bring my product into the online market. During the 2020 lockdown, I re-conceptualised and re-designed the Glamstand brand identity so that it is more memorable, marketable, and aligns more strongly with its audience. Since then, I've expanded the business to include a range of makeup organisers that take your vanity aesthetic to the next level!
